Default Scanning for bugs/viruses in files

I just noticed on one of my sites that an ad for some adult website keeps appearing on my site. I did not put it there, so I assume a bug or what not has gotten into my files, probably from people going onto infected sites on my computer. I scanned my computer and it located it, and it is now cleared, but I still think it's within my files in my hosting. What do I do?

You are on free hosting, there are ads on free hosting. While they are not supposed to be adult ads sometimes there are companies that slip through the radar. They generally are caught quickly.

If you do not want ads on your site you can upgrade to any of the paid hosting packages.

No i have a paid account, its under the username beeline, it's not a ulmb ad, it's an ad to somewhere else and it all of a sudden showed up on my site yesterday, i've never seen it before, so I assume it's a bug.

You are including the code
Quote:

online

hits

...

which would let those web sites put anything they want on your site.
I just pulled that from one page of the above site.

You are hosted on a FreeBSD server here, so any virus or bug that you had on the Windows OS wouldn't carry onto our servers. Now if the bug edited your files then you uploaded them with code on your site that calls ads you would have to reupload clean versions of the files. I however would bet that it is the first thing I said.
