I'm just going to run through the forum and make a quick FAQ for the admins to save them time. Anyone who wishes to answer a question before it is asked please do so.

Q. How do I log into FTP?
A. In your client use the following settings:
Server: ftp.ulmb.com
Username: Your domain (username).ulmb.com
Password: The password you signed up with.

Q. Why didn't my site update?
A. You probably need to refresh, press Ctrl +F5.

Q. How do I set my domain name to here?
A. First set your nameservers on your registrar's site to:
ns1.unlimitedmb.com
ns2.unlimitedmb.com
Then you goto "my websites" in your unlimitedmb control panel to add the domain.
If you get an error about nameservers when adding your domain to my websites, wait a few hours and try again.

Q. What about using CHMOD.
A. The servers do it for you automagically.

Q. I tried loading a big file and it didn't work!
A. You have to make sure it is under 2MB.

Q. I tried to use PHP to upload a big file, why it not work?
A. You can only upload 100Kb.

Q. What should I set MySQL to in script?
A. Server is mysql not localhost, you were given your username and password when you created it, go into your panel and look in MySQL and click settings on the database you want to use.

Q. Can you allow .htaccess
A. No, it wastes server resources.

Q. Can we use another panel?
A. No this is a custom made panel.

Q. Can we use ASP?
A. No, we don't use Windows server.

Q. Can we use Ruby or any other type of CGI?
A. No, CGI is not permitted.

One quick request, could the admins send me the current list of allowed extensions? I'd be able to keep it updated for you after I have it.

Actually we can CHMOD ourselves now.

Really, does it still do it automagically for you though?

For the most part I think it does, but not for everything.

We enabled the chmod function due to so many requests, but in reality changing the chmod permission does absolutely nothing on this server, there is no advantage whatsoever in changing it.
