need an extension and guide please?!

i need .eot extension allowed please?
its to embed fonts into my site.

also im having REAL difficulty uploading from frontpage,
is there a dummies guide, as i dont have this problem with anywhere else.

ive tried sharepoint and ftp in frontpage, but neither seem to work using the ftp details in my control panel?
